Second Alarmers Rescue Squad

Second Alarmers Rescue Squad (SARS) is a 911 EMS agency serving Souteastern Pennsylvania. Our EMT class offers increased skills practice time with 10 hours of field/clinical rotations ever 2 weeks on SARS ambulances and observation time with our partner clinical settings. On average, SARS EMT graduates have a 78% first-time pass rate on the NREMT exam, compared to the statewide first-time pass rate of 65%. Graduates are eligible for an accelerated hiring process at SARS and tuition reimbursement. There are no additional costs for apparel or materials and limited scholarships are available.
