Oklahoma EMS Training Academy (OKEMSTA/OkEmt) is an Emergency Medical Service (EMS) educational business offering a variety of EMS certification courses, recertification courses, American Heart Association (AHA) classes and EMS related continuing education (CEU). OKEMSTA/OkEmt is committed to continuing the deep traditional EMS educational standards and services that have stood in this area for decades. Our goal is to become a premier EMS educational service provider throughout Northeast Oklahoma and the US.

EMR (Emergency Medical Responder)
Tuition $525
Become a first responder in your local community. Traditional in-class courses last 2 months and meet all the NREMT regulations to become certified. Courses can be set up and held at your local fire department or EMS service if requested. (facility approval required) Call for details to set up a class at your local department or EMS service.

EMT Traditional (16 Week Classes)
(Emergency Medical Technician)

Start a career today as an EMT, Fireman, Paramedic or Medical Flight Crew Member by becoming an EMT. Get paid for helping people and saving lives. We try to offer an evening classes during the spring and fall and with enough registration, a combined class during the summer. We are now offer a day class for high school students and individuals who may have their days free. We can set up and hold a class at your local department or EMS service if requested. (Dependent on resource availability and facility approval). Discounts offered for larger classes, so invite your neighboring departments to join and save money. Call for details. EMT Blended
Tuition $1600
Start a career in EMS by becoming an EMT and get paid for helping people. The Blended format is designed to complete the major portion of the didactic/book work component at home. Students should have the freedom and discipline to study a minimum of 8 hours each week to be successful in passing the National exam. The instructor can and will offer periodic Zoom/Google Meet classes during the course. Blended students will be required to attend 48 hours of in-person skills lab scheduled throughout the semester. There will be required lab days prescheduled on 3 specific Saturdays lasting 8 hours per lab and on some weekday evenings for 4 hours. Labs cannot be missed. All Blended students are welcome to come to any Traditional class during the week at no additional charge. In fact it is encouraged.
AEMT Course

Advanced EMT is the next progressive step to becoming a full-fledged paramedic. Learning advanced skills such as intubations, IV access and IV management that are not allowed at the EMT level. This certification is not required to apply for a paramedic program, but definitely gives the student a big advantage when progressing on to the next level of EMS provider. (Please call for availability- At this time these courses are not pre-scheduled, but set up on local demand & request)
