Charlestown Ambulance-Rescue Service

Charlestown Rescue provides numerous training opportunities to the community, its members, and outside emergency agencies. A focus of our department is directed towards community outreach and our CPR programs. CPR classes are hosted as needed and upon request.

We are also a RI Department of Health, Center for Emergency Medical Services accredited training center; providing national standard EMS curriculumns taught to the EMR, EMT-Basic and AEMT/Cardiac Levels.

Due to Charlestown’s unique coastal location and features, we also host numerous technical water rescue courses focusing on rescue boat operations and surface rescue swimmers.
