West Coast EMT Training

Gain the skills and knowledge needed to function as a working Emergency Medical Technician, and to facilitate the passing of the National Registry Exam. Our program is intended for those who want to gain employment as a firefighter, emergency care technician at a hospital and ambulance driver or attendant.

Accelerated EMT Course
This fully immersive course makes it possible to gain the knowledge and skills needed to pass the National Registry Exam in just five weeks.

Evening EMT Course
With our evening courses designed for working adults, your current day job could be a thing of the past in just three exciting months.

Saturday EMT Course
Life is busy. We get it. But if you commit to our Saturday courses, your life will also be that much more rewarding in less than six months.

Prerequisites

You must be 18 years of age before the completion of your course.
You must have a copy of your High School Diploma, GED Certificate, or Ability to Benefit Test.
You must have the American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare provider CPR card (can be purchased with registration).
You must acquire the appropriate uniform for class: Uniform shirts are to be purchased through WCEMT; navy EMS pants, black tactical workboots, black belt and black wristwatch can be purchased at any uniform store.
You must have and bring a copy of your Hepatitis B Vaccination.
You must have and bring a copy of your Tuberculosis Skin Test (must be within the past 6 months).
You must be clean shaven, hair must be pulled back away from face.
