Emergency Medical Services
Victoria College’s Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Program provides quality EMS education to meet the growing demand for competent EMTs and Paramedics. Our Paramedic classes are designed for the working EMT as we follow a shift-based schedule. Our National Registry pass rates are well above the state and national averages. Graduate and Employer satisfaction surveys are also outstanding.

VC EMS offers the following:
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) – Certificate

Complete in one semester: Offered Fall and Spring (evenings) and Summer (days)
Prerequisites acceptance into Victoria College, TSI complete, background check, drug screen, immunizations, CPR card.

Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) – Certificate

EMT plus one semester (Spring or Fall)
EMS Pharmacology is prerequisite (Spring or Summer)

Paramedic – Certificate

AEMT plus two semesters (Fall and Spring)
