The Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) courses are offered for students desiring to become an entry level EMS provider. Both courses will develop field ready EMS providers with the required knowledge and skills to care for patients who are injured due to trauma or suffering from a medical emergency.

Northeast Community College utilizes two fully stocked ambulances, high definition manikins and a Simulation by Immersion Room in the EMS Provider courses it offers.

After obtaining EMT certification, students can enroll in the Paramedic program to further their career.
